For the Love of Ballet
Born in 1988, Ms. BARRINAT began her ballet career when she was nine years old at the Alejo Carpentier Elementary School of Ballet in Havana Cuba. She later attended the Havana Ballet Conservatory where she earned a certification in choreography as well as Ballet Mastery specializing in Ballet Direction. Finally, she graduated from the ENA, National School of Arts lead by Alicia Alonso, Prima Balerina Assoluta.
In 2005 she brought her elite talent and commitment to the United States. Vanessa’s extensive credentials include dancing professionally in both classical and character dance, choreographing and staging of new and classical productions such as Carmen, Don Quixote, Black Swan, The Nutcraker and Bella Cubana. She teaches her students the expressiveness, grace and beauty of dance,
its techniques, and history.
Vanessa continues to distinguish herself as an exemplary artist of great talent, as the owner, lead ballet instructor and choreographer of Center Stage Miami Dance Academy. There, she continues teaching master classes and coaching pre-professional dancers.
